Bob and Senga Wilson welcome you to Chelmeress. We are based in Chelmsford in Essex.

We've always had dogs but we're relatively new to the world of English Springer Spaniels having bought our first one about 7 years ago.

We're even newer to showing dogs having started that around two years ago, but we managed to get Amber to Crufts in 2008 and Stella qualified for 2009 and now for 2010. Now we're well and truly hooked.

Occasionally we let one of our dogs have a litter of pups and we find them the best homes to go to.

In light of the recent bad publicity surrounding the breeding of show dogs we must admit that there are areas of dog breeding that need inspection. For our part we endeavour to adopt best practice as determined by both Breed Club and Kennel Club guidelines. We are members of the Southern English Springer Spaniel Society and their guidelines can be read by clicking 'SESSS Guidelines'

All our dogs are part of the family.
